Seth and Lilly were standing in the bathroom one AM, while Seth got ready for work. As he is combing his hair, and brushing his teeth Lilly starts pointing to a drawer and saying "Horse!" Confused Seth says "There isn't a horse in that drawer". Lilly points again and says "Horse! Horse!" Seth finally opens the drawer, full of combs and brushes and ponytail holders and Lilly once again says "Horse!" It dawns on Seth that she wants her hair done and he realizes she is calling the "pony" that I put in her hair a "horse"! It is so much easier for us to call the ponytail elastics "pony's" and the poor little girl just wanted her hair done, but was so confused about how to tell him what she wanted! I thought it was so funny, I had to share!

We call them ponies, too. But I can understand Seth's confusion.
