I'm the Mom of a thankful family.

Or at least thankful kids. I asked them what they are thankful for this year and this is the response I got: Colin is: -Thankful for family -Thankful for school friends -Thankful for chocolate (even though he doesn't like it) Lilly is: -Thankful for her family (Colin, and Mommy, and Daddy) -Thankful for candy and pies (umm, OK) -Thankful for her doggy (or I guess I should say her toys, since the doggy is just a toy) I know my husband wouldn't like me sharing what he is thankful for on my blog, so I didn't ask. On the other hand, I am: -Thankful for a family that loves me and will quickly forgive. -Thankful for a husband that works hard to provide us with all we need and most of what we want (and we don't have to use the welfare system to get any of the things we need). -Thankful for many friends that have become a support system and that are willing to listen to my bitching about motherhood. AND since my son gave a silly answer, I am: -Thankful for wine, and chocolate martinis, and mudslides, and margaritas and any other alcoholic drink that helps me decompress after a particularly hard day on the job. Happy Thanksgiving everyone! (Now back to your regularly scheduled non-mushy blog reading)
