I'm a Mom spreading the "word".

No, not THAT word. I just found out about a new online free classified ad service (not THAT kind of ad). Beth at I Should Be Folding Laundry wrote a post about Kijiji. Kijiji is a family friendly way to buy and sell things locally. We've all heard some of the horrible stories about Craigslist, and yes, it might work for some people, but I'm personally a little paranoid about having someone respond to an ad looking for a little more than just the rocking chair I'm selling, if you know what I mean. From what I can tell about Kijiji, they have more security measures set up to protect not only the sellers, but the buyers too. There is a HUGE list of what cannot be sold on Kijiji, and tips on now to stay safe while using Kijiji. Check them out! I guess I should also tell you about the giveaway Beth is having, but I really don't want to since, well, I want to win. She is giving away a $100 gift card to Organize.com. Do you know how cool $100 in organization tools would be? I could get some great stuff for the new bathroom (renovations are coming along) or get some stuff to finally get my "food storage" organized. (I put food storage in quotes because it really only consists of extra things I can't fit in my small pantry, its not really a "proper" food storage.) Think of all the organization YOU can do with $100. Check out I Should Be Folding Laundry to learn more about Kijiji and to learn how you can enter to win that sweet gift card!
