that wants to give up.

Are you like me and some days you just want to give up? Give up cleaning house, give up doing laundry, give up trying to be social, give up everything all together and just stay in bed all day doing nothing but surfing the Internet and watching Gilmore Girls? (and possibly reading...I still have to finish Breaking Dawn, but I'm getting there!) I haven't had days like this in a long time. Usually I just chug right on through and keep at it. Eventually things get better and my urge to give up just disappears. Not this time. I just want to fall off the face of the earth and give all my responsibilities to someone else. I'm not sure why this is harder to get through this time. It's not the weather: "The weather in Utah right now is unseasonably warm. Highs in the low 70's all week." It's not the lack of social time with friends (don't even let me get into the week we still have ahead of us!). And it's not that I need a break....I just got back from Vegas for hell's sake! I just don't know what is keeping me in this funk. Anyway...I might not post on any of my regular topics for a little bit. I might post about a great episode of Gilmore Girls in season 4 (one of my fave seasons!), or how much farther I have to go until I finish Breaking Dawn, or I might not even post at all. Don't get worried, don't get mad....just know I'll be back as soon as I don't feel like giving up anymore. (Also check the Twitter box to the right....that is something I will probably keep up with!)

Well, I obviously don't know what's causing it either, but you know you can call me anytime to talk or get together for coffee or just hang out. I think we all have days (or weeks) like this, so don't feel alone in your funk. So watch your shows, don't clean the house and just take a break until you feel better!

That sucks you feel crappy. It happens to me sometimes too. Usually getting out of the house for some fresh air does the trick for me, and reprogramming my brain for positive thoughts only. It must be the just back from Vegas blues. Hang in there!

You know...sometimes it just happens. The thing is, when you are done, all your stuff will still be there. So take your time it'll be fine!

Don't worry too much it happens to all of us. I think it's back from Vegas Blues too. Keep on going. I think Gilmore Girls will be very therapeutic. I don't have any on DVD so I usually go with friends, but always try to watch on ABC Family.

If you figure out how to get out of the "pull the covers over your head" funk, let me know... I get it fairly regularly!! I'm a lot older than you and STILL haven't figured out how to NOT have days (or weeks) like this. Uggh! Grrr! Go away everyone and everything!! (Sound familiar?) Love you sweetie!
